The Assassin's Creed Game I have chosen to research is Origins, which was released on October 27th 2017. For the storyline, the game is principally set in Egypt, near the end of the Ptolemaic period (49–43 BC), the story follows a Medjay named Bayek of Siwa and his wife Aya, and explores the origins of the millennia-long conflict between the Hidden Ones—forerunners to the Assassin's Brotherhood —who fight for peace by promoting liberty, and The Order of the Ancients—forerunners to the Templar Order —who desire peace through the forced imposition of order. This game is so different from its predecessors because the new combat system feels much more fluid and natural and any enemy can attack at any point of time and so can Bayek, this introduces a lot of unknowns in the scenario and how they work together.
The budget for this game
The target audience for Assassin's Creed Origins is aimed at adults because of the bloody violence, nudity, and strong language throughout.
This game was marketed by focusing heavily on community feedback (game playable at events, youtubers), and a lot of trailers showcasing the game, giving potential buyers the chance to see and even play the game from the beginning of the campaign.
Assassin's Creed Origin made a total of $889.4 million in sales. AC Origins has been nominated many times for different awards, but has only won the 16th Visual Effects Society Award in the category of Outstanding Visual Effects in a Real-Time Project in 2018.
