Assassin's Creed Origins



Assassin's Creed Origins came out in 2017. It follows the 2015 game Assassin's Creed Syndicate.

It follows a girl called Layla Hassen who is tasked with retrieving an artefact in Egypt. Instead, she finds a tomb containing the mummified body of , a former Egyptian Medjay who has lived near the end of the Ptolemaic dynasty. Layla uses animus device. that is used to relive the person memories. Which she learns that the person has embarked on an assassination campaign against five individuals who were responsible for the death of his son, and who attempt to gain control of the Pieces of Eden using a hidden vault under the local temple in Siwa and control the free will of humankind. It takes players back to Ancient Egypt in 49BC.

With the game having a bigger map makes it more enjoyable for the players as there is more game play compared to the other games. It also has a new combat system which makes the game feel more fluid and natural.



The budget of the game is around $200 million. It was developed by Ubisoft. Ubisoft Montreal led the game's development, with assistance provided by other Ubisoft studios in different parts of the world. Ubisoft Sofia worked on the tombs and pyramids. Ubisoft Singapore worked on designing the games map and quest. Singapore also crafted the naval combat.

Nearly 1000 people has worked on the game.


The target audience is people aged 18 to 28 as the age rating for the game is classified as a 18. For religion the target audience is people who are Atheist as there is no prominent religion present in the game. Young & Rubicam's 4C's would say the game if for the struggler as they seek escape.


For one of the marketing types Ubisoft had teamed up with Smosh Games to create a three episode series exploring real life Egyptian culture.
