Ant and Dec have recently starred in a series of adverts in which they promote (humorously) their new ideas/inventions and in turn, their love for Santander.
After hosting a vast amount of shows over the years such as 'Britains Got Talent' and 'I'm a Celebrity: Get me out of here!" it's certainly safe to say that this comedic duo is an established household name. This has caused a somewhat sense of familiarity and comfort to be attached to them so to have them play such a key role in these adverts will allow their fans and supporters to shift their trust over to Santander. As a result of this, it is clear to see that the main target audience of these adverts would be 'The mainstreamers'.
Also having this 'trust' is so important as it taps into the individuals needs to feel safe and when this is done they can progress further up Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs.
