This image is a two shot of two women who work for the NHS as they clap to show their support for carers. The colouring of this image is very blue toned, not only is their uniform blue but so is the background. This is the same colour as the NHS logo and could be emphasising the fact that they work for the NHS but are also celebrating others who work for them. One lady is positioned more in the centre whereas the other is slightly in the background and her face has became slightly blurry.
The women in the image are both about to clap and they are wearing their NHS costumes. This is important as it shows that despite the fact that people all over the country are applauding them for their service, they too are giving back to others. They do not have to clap because they are the ones being applauded and yet the still clap for the other workers. This shows how compassionate they are as rather than celebrating the applause being directed at them, they join in to uplift others.
The two women have huge smiles on their faces, this could be directed at themselves or at others. They could be smiling at how proud they are for working at such a difficult and scary time. They might also be smiling because they are happy that everyone is coming together to support people as they are showing their support for carers. The setting in this image doesn't really create meaning as it is just a shiny wall, however it could if it was the window outside of their workplace as it shows that they are dedicated workers and have came outside to show their support for others.
