Ben Affleck was an American actor, director, producer, and writer who experienced some of the highest highs and lowest lows possible over the course of a three-decade career. He was a paparazzi pariah to walking punchline to respected filmmaker, but somehow always managed to stay an integral part of the tabloids. He has had his fair share of scandals and controversy over the course of his career and was subject to both scrutiny and praise alike.
A prime example of scrutiny through the media was through the paparazzi. More than 12 months after completing a 40-day stint in rehab to treat his alcohol addiction, Ben Affleck took to Instagram to celebrate his continuing recovery. On August 22nd 2018, however he was captured on paparazzi video, looking squiffy. In the video posted by TMZ, Affleck can be seen staggering and stumbling in his car clearly intoxicated, with his ex-wife in the front seat.
