Speed Me Up is a music video production, to promote the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog Movie, produced by Wiz Khalifa, Ty Dolla $ign, Lil Yachty and Seuco the Child.

This video attempts to create excitement and anticipation for the upcoming movie and achieves this through including nostalgic images and scenes throughout the video for alot of people, including a Sega Genesis game console and controller with the Sonic the Hedgehog cartridge being inserted, which would fuel the nostalgia and excitement of older, long term fans of the series, increasing their interest of the new movie, bringing a larger audience in.

The video also includes the same pixel-art style of the genesis game and turns these artists into the 16-bit style which would further interest those who enjoyed the game and the origin of this series.

the song itself is upbeat and fast, fitting the theme of speed, as the title suggests, Speed me Up, the song is all about speed and this is conveyed throug this upbeat music. This is further emphasised when the song transitions Lil Yachty, who raps this section at a very fast pace which again constantly fits the theme of the video, and expresses that throughout very clearly.
