Reinforces Stereotypes

Family Guy as an animated sitcom about a traditional dysfunctional family is a prime target when it comes to reinforcing gender norms, It features Peter, the dad working to provide for the rest of his family while Lois tends to stay at home and do the traditional domestic jobs such as cooking, cleaning or looking after the children, she sometimes gets a job in some episodes but by the end of the episode she's lost the job when the "reset button" for the series is pressed.

Breaks Down Stereotypes

FIT is a drama about people in school who are just going about life, it turns out later on in the film that a number of the main cast are uncertain about their sexuality and the truth about them is revealed throughout the film, and they learn that no matter what their sexuality is, is doesn't really matter, and they can live life however they want, they don't have to conform to the norms, they just need to be happy with who they are.
