me, my camera, my brother ... our cancer

the image used is of a young woman with a clear loss of hair which i am assuming is from chemotherapy to help with the cancer reduction. the image is a close up picture of the women suggesting vulnerability as all her flaws are out within the open for everyone to see. the women uses a handheld camera taking the picture in a mirror. within the middle of the image we can see the woman's under eyes bags are very profound suggesting she is exhausted and tired. my first impression of this image without looking at the title is that the women look very vulnerable and weak, her arm looks very thin and the definition of her jawbone and the clear lines on her neck suggest the lack of muscle/ fat on the woman which again is a result of illness.
