Adele is a British singer-songwriter who gained widespread recognition for her soulful and powerful voice, as well as her deeply emotional and introspective songwriting. Her music often deals with themes of heartbreak, love, and personal growth. Her soulful voice and relatable songwriting have made her one of the best-selling music artists in the world.

Aside from her musical accomplishments, the artist has also been praised for her down-to-earth personality and relatability. She took a break from the music industry for a few years to focus on her personal life and came back with her most recent album, 30.

This magazine was released in 2016, and features Adele on the front page. The artist wears natural makeup with a glamorous dress on. The colors of the page are natural and earthy. The text describing Adele reads: 'she had us at 'Hello', inside Adele's world.' The text uses a play on words to describe Adele's lovable personality and widespread popularity, while also acknowledging one of the artists most popular songs, 'Hello'. 'Inside Adele's world' suggests to the reader that the magazine will have exclusive information about the artist.

Adele's website holds the most up-to-date information about her, including news, tour dates, music releases, and more. The website is simple and doesn't have a lot of text, instead it has Adele's name being the largest part, with her most recent album '30' being advertised.

On the website, Adele's new show 'Weekends with Adele' is advertised, along with the news that it will be extended. The show isn't necessarily the same as a normal tour, as it is only held in Las Vegas. Additionally, their is a 'Verified Fan Presale', that only certain fans can access via a code that they will have been sent, allowing them to purchase tickets on a first come first serve basis. This encourages fans to sign up to the website as they will gain unique opportunities.

On the website, there is a message written by Adele herself about the making of her new album 30. This adds authenticity to the website and establishes a closer bond with her and her fans as it feels real and relatable, rather than a persona that other artists maybe arguably put on.

"Hello" is one of Adele's most famous songs from her album "25," released in 2015. The song was a massive hit, topping charts around the world and breaking various records; additionally, it has 3 billion views on Youtube. The song is about reaching out to someone from the past and reflecting on the emotions and memories associated with that relationship. The lyrics convey a sense of longing, regret, and the desire for reconciliation. Adele's powerful performance in "Hello" helped solidify her reputation as one of the most talented and emotive vocalists in the music industry.

The actual song starts just over a minute into the video, with the video being around 6 minutes long in total. We hear Adele calling someone which goes unanswered; she then walks into a broken down home, and begins cleaning out the dust of an old life. As Adele looks into the camera, the first piano chord strikes.

The whole video is in black and white, establishing a melancholic and regretful tone to the video. Alternatively, the use of black and white could be because the video looks back at a past relationship that ended badly. Throughout the video, we have flashbacks to the couple together looking happy and contempt; we also have overlapping audio that isn't audible enough for us to make out the words, but due to the mans acting we can understand what is happening and where the couple are at in their relationship.

We have the repetition of this particular scene, where the man walks away from the camera in the rain. We can assume that this is in Adele's POV, and that it's a repeated scene because of the meaning it holds, as it seems to be the breaking point in their relationship.

The telephone box which is old and covered in leaves and vines seems to act as a visual signifier of the many unanswered calls instigated by Adele. Perhaps the reason it is in a forest could suggest that its been a long time since the couple last spoke, so long that certain areas have now been taken over by a forest.

Near the end of the video, we see more of the couple's bad times, where there are arguments and fights. We even have Adele crying as she attempts to call her partner again, demonstrating how much regret

she feels.

As the chorus kicks in once again, Adele is in what looks to be the same forest that the telephone box was in, and as she sings leaves swirl around her, adding to the dramatic tone of the song and video.

This wide shot in particular demonstrates the barrier between the now broken up couple. With the camera being far away and Adele standing by a lake, there is a physical barrier between her and the camera.

As the video ends, the last sequence we see is of Adele's partner packing his stuff and leaving; this is done through POV shots, as she looks down at him through her window. The two look at each other one last time before he leaves, and is presumably never heard from again.
