The headline of the article instantly infers ambiguity to the audience with the foreboding short concise sentence taking precedence over the masthead, "Trump wins. Now the world waits" it infers to the audience that there is very little to be said on the subject similar to the The Times minimalistic approach of copy on their front paper. However here we can see that this is a clear blow to the writer that the fact the sentence is left unfinished it is possibly a metaphor for the fact that this is not going to the satiation of everything being tied up in a ribbon and the audience can now move on. We have to "wait" and see how the story will develop. We can furthermore see the clear left leaning ideological bias with the caption made to look lie a sticker "will he destroy America" matted to him leaning back creating a double chin positioning the audience to looks right down Trump's gullet, whilst he almost looks away in discomfort. This when compared to the image on The Times is a very visual and distinguishing image The Times placing Trump in a wide shot and having slight referential codes inferring he was not all that different to that of other Presidents that came before him for instance the half-mast fist possibly referring to Reagan, the grey streak referring to JFK or George W Bush. Yet in The Guardian the cover looks similar to an Internet article and there is the possible inference that this is as Trump pushed his campaign on social media and possible that the fact that Trump is different from those that came before him that he is a part of a new and visual generation. however when looking back at the times we can see the repestion of the sterotype, succfefull white male polations this is done frist through the dress code the taloryed suite inffers to the at trump is not only suffecful and rich enoguhg to buy such extratixes but he is paratidic. this is done throught th ecouldors in the sutie prodmentally being red white and blue. additonaly this is done throught the away tump is made to domatie the front page of the paper inffering to us that his steroype domates us ploatices. in a simlar sences although in away we are engorued to see trump as something new on the gardines front page we are equally engared to seen him as apart of the same steroype respeted in the times in theis insted exntauted his domaces of the fame and possabliy engauming the aduonce to see this setorytype as foolsih in a modern era.
