This image is framed as a medium long shot to show of the setting and make the police officer become center of the frame. It also uses the rule of thirds to arrange the things happening in the photo. This creates the impact of the issue that is being displayed because in each third it conveys the anger and distress the Sri Lankans are going through. The main image focuses centrally on the police officer shooting a weapon at a building in response to the protestors. Our eyes are drawn to the centered smoke line.
