In the poster for Hitchcocks psycho,Women are represented in a over sexualised and old fashioned way.For example he woman is dressed provocitavly in her underwear and appears to be sitting on a bed.We can also see hat there is only one woman name listed on the poster. The rest of the crew and cast appear to be male, reinforcing patriarchal views. We can see examples of van zoonens theories here as the central figure is a stereotypically attractive women surrounded y two male figures .The woman has a shocked facial expression and the men are shown in a red light signifying danger and power over the woman.
