So just a bit of background information, Crypt TV are a Youtube channel who make many amazing high budget horror short films, which you can watch for FREE. Crypt TV is basically "MARVEL for monsters". They say that 'it is their mission to tell monster stories that bring the world closer together. They believe scary stories unite us and help us face our most powerful emotions. Therefore they want to create the next generation of iconic monsters -- with us and for us'.

This short film is the third instalment in their 'MISS ANNITY' series. This series specialises in personal issues that plague the world. But this episode focuses on a gay teenage boy who likes wearing make-up, but his Dad ridicules him for it. So the main message behind this is to just do what makes you happy, if you want to wear make-up whatever your gender, just do it, there will always be people out there to accept you for who you are.

In the video it the boy is the victim, he's being preyed upon by Miss Annity but is saved when he accepts himself for who he is. However, the Dad gets his comeuppance by the end (I don't want to spoil the ending for yas).

A lot of Crypt TV's other films face similar and other world issues. I highly recommend that you watch more of their videos, they are very atmospheric with good stories and great monster, make-up, designs.

TAKE ME TO CHURCH - HOZIER

I'm sure a lot of people are aware of this video's existence , so I'll just get down to the point. This video depicts two gay men in a loving relationship who get beaten/abused by a group of homophobes. It's clear why Hozier chose to represent this in the video.

Clearly it's a psa/ to spread awareness of what happens to gay people and the message is to stop gay hate. But it's probably not just for gay people, Hozier probably just chose them to represent all hate issues. It’s literally so sad that people get killed for race, religion, sexuality and more.
