The common themes and ideology of these types of films are Social Injustice which is a term where they show unequal treatment towards a group within that society. The style that they use is that they do not use any special effects in the movie because they just want the audience to know what is happening straight way so that, they know that this could be going around in the world. The problems that are shown in the movie is that the person named Shawn has been introduced to a gang, due to his feeling and view being changed since his father has died. One camera shot that they consistently used is close shot because it shows the emotion on the character and how the character is currently feeling. The film almost looks quite sad and depressing because of how real it looks and it shows how some people can relate to the movie. In the movie, it shows how a lot of people have a lot of freedom and free time to do what every they want to do, like for example taking drugs.
