The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes

The dystopian fiction, motion picture film, "The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes" directed by 'Francis Lawrence', and based on the books by 'Suzanne Collins', was released November 2023. Featuring actress 'Rachel Zegler' playing the young songwriter 'Lucy Grey Baird', along side with co-star, 'Tom Blyth' starring 'Coriolanus Snow'. The story takes place 64 years before 'Katniss Everdeen' played by 'Jennifer Lawrence' in the 2012 'The Hunger Games', takes over the Capitol, leaving her mark on everyone forever, and how the courageous mentor 'Lucy Grey Baird' impacted 'Coriolanus Snow' with her mysterious bolting permanently.

The movie is an excellent example of 'eye-catching' where as soon something happens during the movie, you suddenly want to know what the next scene is going to be about, pulling the watchers in. As already mentioned, the movie is set just over half a century ago, beginning the story of the villain 'Coriolanus', who just at the ripe ago of 18, becomes the most powerful man in the whole of the Nation of Panem. The story tells the audience of how he got where he is today, and how the actions of the character, 'Lucy Grey Baird', haunted him for the rest of his life, even though he never saw her again.

The soundtrack features the talented Olivia Rodrigo, with the song called 'Can't Catch Me Now', the song indicates the story of the leading characters 'Lucy' and 'Coriolanus' and how even though her presence was never to be seen again, that doesn't mean her leaving his mind would be gone likewise. Olivia captures the perfect image of how 'Lucy Grey Baird' escaped from the ideologies of the Capitol and how her beliefs would remain in her anthesis' mind forever, Coriolanus. The metaphorical meaning of the song symbolizes how in many years to come, Lucy will get her revenge on Coriolanus, even though her presence is still nowhere to be found, but instead 'Katniss Everdeen' takes things into her own matter.

In my opinion, I think this movie is perfect for the double-meanings and a good thinking movie that will make you question every little move. If you're someone who believes that karma will always come in flavor in the end, then this movie is for you.
