Masthead -

The Masthead is not present upon the front page of this newspaper. In publishing, a masthead is a list at the top of a page that includes the names of editors, writers, and owners, as well as the title of the newspaper or magazine. You'll usually find the masthead on one of the first few pages. It is clear that the masthead is not present but from further research of other Sun Newspapers, the Masthead is not present on the front page of the newspaper.

Headline -

The headline upon this newspaper is clearly, "Facebook Terrorist." The headline is in big white block letters on a black background to make them stand out more. The headline is a clear shock factor to grab the audiences attention . There are also three more bullet points wit the same font / colour but just a smaller size. they use an aspect of shocking language within the bullet points again to create anticipation.

Main image -

the main image is of the man who was the terrorist in action. the image is a close up of the mans face who seems to be in distress and anger. there is also another smaller image of muslim women on their phones, assuming they are contacting loved ones, within their faces you can see the fear of the unknown of what will happen next.

Layout/ Design-

the layout clearly shows the main image as being the main aspect of the whole newspaper front cover, with the headlines comin in a close second. The newspaper also had adverts to the top of the front page to capture the audiences attention more.
