Week 7 - I got something to say

The music video F**K the police is a song which is reinforced about generic stereotyping about Black people, which they don’t agree with authority and how black people are targeted that they are most likely to prison and tells lies at the same time. This can be evident where at the start the court said ‘to help your blackest ass’, to state that they want to be free and have a time to hang out.

Generally, it talks about a feud with the police where they accuse black people for no reason, and it is a sign of being racially motivated as they treat other people with different circumstances for instant ‘Stop and Search’ has been more likely to be a thing with Black people then White people. Another thing is the police stereotype Black Teenagers that they are selling drugs to get a living.

In this song they show a strong hatred of police is general where these type of people disagree with each other, (mostly) and it shows how they show racial inequality towards black and white people, where mostly likely to be pulled over will be black and least likely will be white people and how they shows act of violence and aggression towards each other. This shows that authority figure label black people as the ‘outcast’ due to how they are treated and how they react in certain situation.

In the song, they show different examples of what black people have experienced in the past, which is related to the police and how they feel really offended as if it was the opposite race, they will properly let them go and they will face no consequences at all, but if it was a black person they will severely punish them.

The song itself sends different meaning but the main idea is police injustice towards a certain minority group and how they treat them differently to others. As Black people are stereotypes for being drug, addicts, hobo's, and drug dealers due to their appearance and what they are subjected to.
