in this poster for Zombieland : Double Tap, the women are wearing clothes that are dark in colour and are not necessarily gender specific (unisex). They are also each holding a weapon ; with one holding a grenade launcher and the other holding a sharp axe. These 2 things combined challenge the stereotypical image that a woman usually posses. Women are usually seen in bright, more revealing clothing and are portrayed as a defenceless 'damsel in distress'. With this in mind, the characters can act as role models that assure women that they don't have to follow the generic norms that society have constructed. tHIS MAY REINFORCE David Gauntlett's theory of identity.
