This article is taken from the websites fashion page, which features a transgender model who has just been the first out trans model to have won model of the year. Gender is seen to be represented as a pivotal issue- especially in the world of fashion. Consani's achievement as the first openly transgender woman to receive this honor highlights the ongoing efforts toward inclusivity and representation. Her acceptance speech emphasized the importance of acknowledging and supporting those who paved the way, particularly Black trans women like Dominique Jackson, Connie Fleming, and Aaron Rose Phillips. She stated, "I can't accept this award without thanking those who came before me, specifically the Black trans women who really fought for the space I'm in today." The fact that the article shares quotes and other celebrities praising Alex, implies that the trans community have a whole group of people on their side- who are ally's. Other trans people may not feel as marginalised by the media if they know they have a community to support them, as they do with Alex. This acknowledgment underscores the challenges and progress related to gender diversity within the fashion industry. The approach that Attitude has taken with this article is to try and celebrate an issue that is prevalent in the media today, by not grouping her in a way that lessens her, but actually to support and show that they are an ally to this community. This article can not only be linked to Stuart Hall's representation constructions but also his idea of a shared conceptual map. The ideas that Attitude have put forward in this article would be how most audiences interpret the views as audiences, most of the time, roughly look and view the world in similar ways. The idea of celebrating rather than diminishing people from the transgender community, is how Attitude would expect an audience to react.
