Constructed representation of Black People

The music video F**K the police is a song which is reinforced about generic stereotyping about Black people, which they don’t agree with authority and how black people are targeted that they are most likely to prison and tells lies at the same time. This can be evident where at the start the court said ‘to help your blackest ass’, to state that they want to be free and have a time to hang out. Generally, it talks about a feud with the police where they accuse black people for no reason, and it is a sign of being racially motivated as they treat other people with different circumstances for instant ‘Stop and Search’ has been more likely to be a thing with Black people then White people. Another thing is the police stereotype Black Teenagers that they are selling drugs to get a living. In this song they show a strong hatred of police is general where these type of people disagree with each other, (mostly) and it shows how they show racial inequality towards black and white people, where mostly likely to be pulled over will be black and least likely will be white people.

The film trailer Rush Hour 2 it shows a person who is in an Asian Decent with a Black Person where they are in Asia and how the Chris Tucker is experiencing this first hand as they see some stereotypical scenes for example where Chris Tucker says to Jackie Chan, “you guys look alike”, which is very comedic for some people and offensive for other people. Another scene where Chris Tucker tells the seller in the market, I would like it deep fired, and dead and says, “Ever heard of Popeyes?”, this shows how Chris is bringing a different assets to the other side of the world. Another way is that how Chris is acting silly and unserious as it shows how Black people are and how Asian people, are very hardworking and serious.

In Black Lives Matter, Social Media, it talks about how the negative stereotypes of Black people and then spread awareness about the positives and how they are a value in todays society and also gives out positive messages about Black people and how they are part of society.
