Harper's Bazaar is a beauty and fashion magazine aimed at middle class, 18-30 year old women. It is very stylised, yet has a lot of content on its cover. The attention to detail is something which I would borrow due to the fact that it makes the magazine seem more high end and aesthetically pleasing. Another appeal of the magazine is the fact it tells the audience what to wear / how to dress etc. as well as the 'exclusive' content. The quote included is an enigma code and entices the audience to read the magazine due to the fact that it gives an insight into the interview but makes the audience wonder exactly what Keira Knightley is talking about.
The inside of the magazine is very simple yet couture; I like the way that the magazine chooses to place all of the imagery on one page and all of the copy on the other. It makes the content easy to read, and suggests that it is very straight to the point. Personally, I would include more imagery both to fit the brief and to be more appealing to the audience; but I could still include all of the images on one side of the page and all of the copy on the other side.
The youtube for the magazine includes light hearted interviews with celebrities which again gives you an insight into their lives and makes you feel more of a 'connection' to them. This is something that I might do in my video due to the fact that it gives a light hearted feel to the magazine and would probably be a different tone to the magazine itself due to the fact that I would want my magazine itself to be rather serious.
