No other media has changed my life as much as YouTube has. I've always enjoyed it as a kid, watching my favourite creators and having that generic dream of becoming one of them one day.
I love entertaining, so watching creators who's job it is to entertain there audience has always inspired me. I haven't had a set favourite creator as they change as I grow. That's the uniqueness of YouTube. You may have liked Minecraft content as a kid, but as you grow you may lean more into make-up art. Whatever it is, YouTube has it for you.
I personally enjoy watching longform videos that go on for hours in the background when I'm busy doing something boring.
I also enjoy the story aspect you get from YouTube. One of my favourite series, The Amazing Digital Circus, started on YouTube. I love the creativity people can achieve on the site, and how easily it is to express there creativeness for more to see.
Despite the recent controversy with popular creators, I still watch YouTube. Specifically, I enjoy watching Markiplier. The way he is able to make it as both a horror gamer and an actor, even creating his own film, is one of the biggest reasons he's so inspirational.
Also with YouTube, it's educational. You can find alot of great sources through simple videos and descriptions. I tend to use it for Art tutorials and video editing tutorials to further my skills. And if one video doesn't seem to answer your questions, you don't have to watch it all. Just simply find another video, and your good to go.
Overall, Youtube has changed my life and built my childhood. It's creativity and educational site is inspiring for anyone.
