Image analysis

This image is a long shot style, displaying a wide view of the setting. The main is framed just off centre, slightly to the right with the rest of the focus on the colourful background. Perhaps the man is off centre as he is walking, the unsymmetrical nature of this image highlights this. By his body language, we can infer he is happy and this is enunciated by the great weather which also has connotations of joy. Additionally, we can infer from his clothing that the weather is hot. His clothing is also notably plain and a light grey/white colour, creating a great contrast to the background. There is a building painted mostly in a very saturated blue with other highlights of red yellow and green. As the model in the foreground is naturally the focus of attention, the background uniquely grabs the attention back, unusually distracting from the foreground. Also, it seems this image was taken spontaneously, by the relaxed body language of the model. It is also a side on angle of the model, which makes our eye follow where he is walking too. This is significant as he is walking towards the most colourful and saturated part of the image, again drawing attention to that area.
