if it isn't clear from the quote above the BBC, when it comes to political issues, prides themselves on being impartial which means that the BBC when representing issues must show all sides in full without the writers personal thoughts or feelings intruding on their work. The BBC want the reader to make their own conclusion with the evidence at hand presented by the article but full neutrality all the time is borderline impossible and the BBC is bound to show their full hand every once and a while. To me this clear from the article linked above where the BBC's very own Helier Chung and Roland Hughes attempt to give a in depth and impartial look at the reasons for the most recent Hong Kong riots.
