Music Video and Women's passive role

the use of a naked woman with only her private areas barely covered suggests that women are supposed to be viewed as objects to be admired and not as actual people. the full body shot suggests that we are supposed to take in her whole body in its natural form, naked, whereas when Zayn is shown throughout the music video, he is shown in a mid shot and is fully clothed, acting as a dominant character to the women in the video due to their lack of clothing.

again, here he is shown as taller than the woman, making her look frail and helpless. with the exposure of her cleavage, again this makes the woman a sexualised object with the type of clothing worn in contrast to the males clothing, showing no skin. the male in this show is shown to be focussing on the women, admiring her, leaving the woman no choice but to be objectified.
