Women take shelter with their children ahead of Cyclone Mocha's landfall at Shahpori island in Bangladesh. About 800,000 people have been affected by one of the strongest storms to hit the region this century, the UN said.
This image is framed to include 3 hooded figures and a baby it is shot in a medium close up to show intimacy between the women and the baby but show distance from the shot taker.
It is composed in the rule of thirds showing the baby in one square and the women in their own.
The photographer used light to show purity of the baby whilst the mothers are in shadow as they know the struggle of their situation.
The babies face is shown and is wearing the happy colour of yellow whilst the mothers are covered and in darker colours.
All of these codes are symbolic for how difficult it is to be a parent during hard times such as a cyclone forcing you to evacuate.
