An example of women objectification and sexualisation in newspapers in in page 3 of the sun which showed naked pictures of women in their late teens and early twenties up until 2015 this is purely for the satisfaction of the people who are reading the paper, the women are unaware of who is watching them and the fact that this is in a newspaper, which people typically read to see what is going on in the world, anyone could see this. The (presumably) men who are reading this are taking the active role while the women in the paper are powerless to stop them making them active. Archetypes were often used in these papers such as the dumb blonde which actively made the women featured look uneducated.
