The Offline TV podcast is a podcast made by the streamer organisation Offline TV more known as the shortened version OTV. Offline TV is an online social entertainment group of content creators based in Los Angeles, California. They produce a wide range of content, from prank videos to vlogs to the housemates playing games together. The group maintains a large following on their social media platforms. Offline TV was founded in 2017 by William "Scarra" Li, his manager at the time and Imane "Pokimane" Anys.
The episode this is reviewing is Ep23 featuring streamer Celine "Starsmitten" Cheung who is apart of the "side org" that isn't an organisation called OTV and Friends. In this episode the main focus is on their Japan trip and the funny stories such as the onsen and having to be naked in front of one another.
I watched this podcast on YouTube and on this site is where most OTV content is except the live streams which most members are signed to Twitch. On the video is is separated through YouTube's chapters feature into the many conversations that happen naturally they're not planned in this episode.
The Episode has a feel of story telling whilst managing to sound like we are involved in the conversation somehow. The "hosts" in this episode are Brodin Plett and Disguised Toast. Brodin Plett, also known as Brofain, is an American director, producer, who has been streaming on Twitch since November 2016. Plett previously worked as a cinematographer and editor for Yahoo! Esports. He joined OfflineTV in 2020. Jeremy Wang better known as Disguised Toast, is a Taiwanese-Canadian streamer, YouTuber, and Internet personality. He got his start on YouTube, creating videos about the digital card game Hearthstone. Toast later began streaming on Twitch, before signing an exclusive streaming contract with Facebook Gaming in November 2019. In November 2021, Toast announced his return to streaming on Twitch. Toast is a member of OfflineTV.
I liked the episode overall even taking away my bias as I watch tons of their content already it has a welcoming and conversational feel and doesn't mention any topics of discussion it is just a chat about a certain thing, in this one being a conversation of their trip. The only downside i can see is that it feels like you should know who these people are from their over content sometimes and it helps to watch their 2 Japan vlogs already to have some more context going into it but other than that it was a cosy atmosphere and fun to watch especially if you know the creators which I recommend them there is so many creators under just the "And Friends" part that are great to watch and make me laugh so give them a watch.
