On the Zoella blog, the idea of femininity is dominated through the articles. This is through both males and females.
In the photoshoots for females, there is a strong use of the colour pink, a symbolic code for femininity. What is interesting about the males in their photos is the use of filters and the attention that is drawn to their lips, both associated with more feminine traits rather than masculine.
The language that is used in the articles can also be described as feminine, talking about more feminine topics such as self care, beauty, fashion and baking. These themes are repeated through the articles and it really doesn't seem to sway away from it, conforming to the idea that gender performativity is reinforced through repeated actions.
The femininity of the entire page is not based on sex. As mentioned before, both males and females are represented on the blog, but both the males and females that are represented on the blog have feminine traits, along with the content. This reinforces the point that assigned sex does not correlate to gender and gender performativity.
