This is an advert for Dior's "Pump N Volume" mascara featuring Bella Hadid. This advert will target an age range of around 16-60 as these are the ages when people are likely to use makeup on a regular basis. However this product may only be accessible to a slightly older audience as Dior is a designer brand and their products do not withhold a standard affordable price. This would also make their target audience on the wealthier side, the minimalistic approach of this ad certainly fits with the stereotypical desires of a wealthier client. The dark monochromatic colour scheme of the ad brings elegance and draws focus to the product. The pop of light blue colour under the models eye's highlight the products purpose and appearance which is incredibly useful for the viewer. The use of an extremely recognisable face like Bella Hadid's also brings a level of attraction to the ad and as Bella is a model and this also sells the ide of beauty behind the product.
In 2016 Taylor Swift and Drake collaborated with Apple music to create this advert. The advert consists of the two singers involved in separate fitness activities whilst both listening to each others music. The two singers create extremely different styles of music, which means both hold their own separate large fanbases and combined this attracts two separate audiences to one product. The household name Apple also attracts its own audience, and the name immediately ensures that the product is reliable for the viewer. The fitness aspect of this video gives the product a wider range which may persuade more viewers into purchasing. The overall comedic take of the advert makes it more enjoyable and also more engaging.
