Audience appeals: Nike-winner stays on & Beyoncé vogue

This advert would mainly appeal to football fans and football players typically aged 16 upwards. The advert displays some of the worlds best footballers and the skills they are known for. This advert uses the need to achieve throughout. This need can be seen when the famous footballers appeal on the screen playing good. This evokes the audiences need to achieve as they would feel inspired by them and want to fulfill their goals. This advert is mainly about the Nike boots and how they can improve your football skills. This could possibly evoke the audiences need for curiosity as they would ask questions like, why choose nike? or would I become like Ronaldo If wore them? Also, because the advert uses famous footballers the target audience is familiar with, it makes it more enjoyable and rememberable to watch. This would show how the main target audience would be mainstreamers because they love familiarity and these players fulfil that.

This magazine poster would mainly appeal to middle aged women looking for self confidence and inspiration for their weight. This poster would appeal to mainstreamers and explorers because it is not a typical weight/diet Magazine poster. Usually they promote loosing weight is better but this one promotes curves and fashion for every figure. The use of the famous celebrity, Beyonce, creates a sense of security for the audience as they would be familiar with her and what she believes in.
