Since its introdouction in the 1990s, the Christmas cokacola advert featuring the traditional coke truck has been a staple of holiday tv in many households across the world, many don't officialy begin the holiday untillthe ad airs in late November. The appeal of the ad for me is the sence of wonderment it generates within the viewer as the light clad truck slowly drives through a Christmas scene of the snowey woods at night. The scene is scored by a choir of children singing in unison: the holidays are coming. this builds antispation throughout the ad as to what is happening and where the truck is going, but also to the anticipation for the countdown to christmas.
The ad ends as the truck returns to the town with the coke. The crowds chear filling the audience with a sence of comunity spirit.
