This will appeal to an audience as they will be interested in learning more about the topics that are highlighted on the front page that may still seem too 'taboo' for a normal conversation, and so to talk about these topics will pick up the target audience's interest. for readers outside of Cosmo's target audience, this front cover could interpreted as actually quite sexist. reducing women to no more than 3 ideas, sex money and how they look, this seems like it is telling us that there is nothing more to women than these points. Ashley Benson being the cover girl for these ideas either tells us she agrees with that and promotes the ideas or that there is simply nothing else one for her than what the magazine would have you believe extends to the entire female population.
