Humble by Kendrick Lamar (2017)

Kendrick Lamar is an award-winning rapper and songwriter best known for his innovative take on life in Southern California as well as for his affiliation with rap star and super-producer Dr.Dre. Kendrick Lamar Duckworth was born in Compton, California, on June 17, 1987. Lamar grew up around precarious street activity, but he seemed more influenced than harmed by it.

i believe that the song Humble by Kendrick Lamar is about social issues. Throughout the video, there is not one white person which means that we can start to understand that the music video is relating to social issues involving black people. in my opinion, humble

is refering to how the media deals with black people. There are parts in the video where he shows different camera angles to say the media will show you the angle they want you to see instead of showing you all of the angles and the full picture and situation.

In the video, there is a scene showing to cars pulling up to eachother. This scene shows exactly how society perceives black people differently to white. When you seen kendrick and his pals exchanging items like that from a car, we immediately assume that they are exchanging illegal contraband such as drugs but the are actually swapping grey poupon and having toast. however if they were to be white people, we would assume that they are exchanging something good to help eachother.
