LITTLE MIX- GLAMOUR

The target audience for the glamour magazine would most likely be females ages 16 to 25. these people would more than likely have disposable income, giving them the chance to buy all of the different copy's of the magazine which feature different celebrities and focuses on women and fashion and we can assume that maybe the people who buy these magazines have an interest of going into the fashion field (or are already have a job similar) and read them to get inspiration.

this particular magazine cover, focuses its attention on world famous girl group, little mix. This certain, glamour magazine front page reinforces little mixes well known message, women empowerment. This is shown they strongly stand by this message as they have been branded as 'women of the year' as the front page reads. if you know their discography they have many songs listing the struggles that women face and sexism in society. also labeled as 'gamechangers in music' this could be hinting at their immense success with winning awards, with this issue being publishes a few months before they made history being the first ever group to win 'best group' at the Brit awards in may 2021, but also could show their bravery into not sticking to the same genres and always trying something new. the title 'gamechangers' can also highlight how they have stuck up for themselves because of the scrutiny they face because they are women in the music industry along with hate because of clothes they wear or certain things they have said (that wouldn't be a problem if a man was to say or do). the quotation 'we've shown women standing together works' further shows their belief in their message as one thing little mix are always admired for is their strong friendship as the media likes to show singers friendships with one another fake.

the audience for this magazine would be part of the succeeder and the aspirer. people who identify with succeeders posses self confidence and tend to occupy positions with a sense of responsibility. when it comes to brands like glamour they tend to seek out reward and often seek out the best because they feel they deserve that. this links to this magazine cover because if majority of readers are women they will listen to the message of little mixes women empowerment because they finally get the responsibility with having equality that was once frowned upon. they will also carry the idea that this message is what they deserve as women should be able to have a voice.
