Mean girls film review

The 2004 film Mean girls Directed by Mark Waters who has also produced films such as Freaky Friday and Mr Poppers Penguins directed the American teen comedy (mean girls) which was written by Tina Fey is based in part on Rosalind Wiseman's 2002 non- fiction self-help book, Queen Bees and Wannabees which highlights the social cliques of teen females in high school, bullying and the damaging effects it can have on girls stares the infamous Lindsay Lohan as new girl Cady heron who recently moved from Africa to Illinois, joins North Shore Highschool for a new begging and quickly meets Janice (played by Lizzy Caplan) and Damian (played by Daniel Franzese) who help guide Cady throughout her time there. however the social clique idea is quickly introduced when we meet 'the plastics' the most popular girls in the school Regina George ( Rachel McAdams) Karen smith (Amanda Seyfreid) and Gretchen Wieners (Lacey Chabert). As Cady accidentally gets between head member Regina George, Regina seeks revenge although Janice Damian and Cady plot to bring down 'the plastics' status. this backfires as slowly Cady turns into one of them.
