You need to write an account of a single media text that you feel has changed your life - and you need to say why.

 

This needs to be a detailed account of exactly how it affected you when you first consumed it and how it continues to affect you now.

 

Did it engage with you emotionally or intellectually? Did it change your opinions? Did it make you do something? Did it change your habits or media consumption?

 

You must be analytical about exactly how it has the impact it does. e.g. If it makes you laugh then explain what is funny, if it makes you cry then analyse how your emotions have been manipulated.

 

You also need to consider the impact it might have on other people.
